RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Dolphin Partmaster

Danny:

I will take a look at BlenderCAD. It sounds great, especially being open
source. I still keep my fingers in the industry to some extent and am
always being asked for a "cheap" CAD or CAD/CAM software seat. Some of the
shop owners near me are very small operators, not like Thomasville
Furniture, Bassett, etc. and just can't afford the more conventional seats
like DolphinCAD or MasterCAM or even AutoCad with an NC generator add in.
Thank you for posting the information.

BlenderCAD is a free, open-source package which is pretty popular.
Google Sketchup is a popular free one, too.

I installed Blender and haven't really worked with it, but I gotta say,
I was shocked at how advanced it looked. It's a very state-of-the-art
build, at least it looks to be at first glance.
