Re: small spindle ?

you guys have some great ideas.

I have one of Pauls spindles on my PCB etcher
I have a fordome clone on my 9" lathe for small work. love the micro drill chuck.
I have a wolfgang spindle I got to replace Pauls if Pauls ever failed.

I am luckily getting a bunch of 1/2" plastic, semi-soft, not as hard a plexiglass.
I plan on making a mini a 5 inch x 7 inch work envelop table top unit

so the weight will be an issue. I have an all aluminum dremel hand piece, but have not tried to use it.

I am hoping to find something smaller than a dremel for under $50. I understand that this is mostly a toy, but you know how sometimes the simplest toys get the most use.
