Actually, it cant be done (the update rate is too slow).
And the crap capacitive scales are NOT accurate.

Glass scales are cheap and accurate.
Some solutions can in some ways feed this back.
It is not common, and it is not easy.

Of commercial machines in the 70.000€ range, about 2% had glass scales.
They were not necessary for most users.
