I've used a local crane company several times now. I have a downhill
driveway with no turn around for tractor trailer rigs, and nobody wants
to back down my 1/4 mile dirt road from the middle of a blind turn.
The flat-bed crane rig can drive right in and with a bit of maneuvering,
get turned around and drop the load right in front of the garage door.
$75/hour, 2 hour min is the rate, and it's really cheap for big loads,
considering the alternative.
