3phase & Re: 50uF + suplus motor run caps sources???

Yeah, even though it might be fun on the 4th, I agree its not a
good idea.

BTW
I've seen a figure of 50-70uF/HP for the motor 'start' caps, but I've
seen varying figures for the motor 'run' values. I know it will be
an empirical exercise to fine tune, but is there a rule-of-thumb
for these 'run' values?

Some designs exclude them all together.
I'm targeting 7.5HP and 10HP idler motor. (got a deal on 2 motors)
