These are 8 wire motors that Bridgeport has jumped to run as
6 wire in unipolar mode. You can run these in bipolar by
using 1 and 6 with 2 and 8 as the simplest wiring or you can
jump 1 to 5, 3 to 6, 4 to 8 and 2 to seven for parallel
bipolar or you can leave the jumpers on 5 to 6 and 7 to 8,
take the white/blue and white/yellow wires off and run
series connected bipolar.
There has been lots of discussion on the benefits of each
mode.
