Great site! Spend some time looking and reading some of the tutorials
(for the hardware and software part of the group(Art, Dan)). Could
be a basis for a low cost controller interface card that would solve
the slow pulse problems. He also has instructions on how to build a
low cost quadrature encoder card for feedback. Even has a section on
using and writing DLL's to access the cards from Windows.
