My guess is you should be fine. My first introduction to Linux was Redhat
5.0 and the "Official" install book with that got my first installation
running just fine. Comparing it to the "Official" book in the 5.2 boxed set
I have shows no major differences, just a bunch of clarification and some
extra info you can get by without for the purpose of EMC.
