Hi,

For doing awkward assembly jobs like this I usually just clart the insides
up with grease - this way all the balls will just stick into place until you
get the screw in place. If needs be, you can then rinse the grease out with
a few good squirts of WD40, dry it off and re-lubricate. If you can force
grease into the ballnut before you take it off the screw chances are you
won't lose a single ball!
