Probably because they cut this thin metal at an incredibly high feed rate.
I would guess it would require a guy to run as fast as he can with the router
(or whatever tool the roto-zip is, or is powered by)!

If you dwell or slow down, even for a moment, it will make a mess at
30,000 RPM.
