The speed of the computer shouldn't matter. The 8192
interrupts per second only dictate a machine with at least
a 30khz clock with overhead calc'd in.
Almost any computer should be able to do the job
but windows could concievably slow down more on
a slow computer. (you can't notice the slowdown on any
computer I've run it on. (slowest was 300mhz )).
The pulser only responds to a command buffer in memory. It has no
knowledge of what its pulsing ,of course, so you can set 1,2,3 or all 4 axis
at the same time
or offset to each other. I only intend to use it in the standard
interpolation algorithms. That is what master control uses now and you can't
really see any error. The
time is not calculated off of the interrupt timer, so time is
not an issue.
