Unfortunately, the mastercontrol program's main shortcoming was it's
gcode translator. It is very simple
mainly because the work I was doing with it was simple g0,g1 codes. As you
know, I've halted any work on it, and it will totally dissapear in a few
weeks. ALOT of people have downloaded it..(over 1500) and alot of
hobbiest appear to be using it, but I would really suggest
that the wait for the new version will be worth it. I've learned alot on
this group and with research, (before MC I had never done cnc or g-codeing )
and I hope to incorporate alot of that info in the new controller.
I will release the new version when it can translate and cut, and then
will add conversational CNC as well as
DXF translation.
