Art,
I got you Master Control program running on my home 330Mhz machine last
night. Ran the sim on circles, played with the jog. so VXF is OK (?!)
I tried one of my CNC files generated by Vector CAD/CAM, as ISO 001.
Apparently your program understands a different flavor of Gcode! Is it
selectable? I thought your code was the same when you asked about G02
and G03 several months ago (as I recall). I suppose I could generate a
different flavor of Gcode from Vector, which one do I want (or I can
experiment to find out)?
I noticed when I installed the program that the program name does not
appear under "Start, Programs" in Windoz98 2ndEd. Found it ok in
Programs/Master Control CNC, and created shortcut OK. Comment/Nit!
2nd nit, I noticed no "G01" in the Gcode screen. G091 etc. are also
missing.
I installed on work 330Mhz 'celeron machine, (same pgm name comment),
but when I went to run it, I got "PORTIO error", and the program
exited. No other program running (not that I can cut anything at
work!).
Looks like your program is really coming along! Now I gotta get some
step/direction drivers up! (working on a single axis drive for the
rotary table right now).
Good Job!
