Hi,

Dan, the first board layout will be surface mount. Afterwards when
time allows I can do a DIP thru-hole layout. I assume you would need
gerber files.

I will be posting the circuit diagram so you or anyone else can do
their own board layouts as well.

There will no limit on the number of axies possible. Each axis' data
input will be an 8-bit wide, 2-bit deep shift register. The output of
the SR goes to the data input of the next pulse gen card. This means
the axies cascade. The SR depth will increase by 2 bits for every
card added.

As an example, a 6-axis setup will an 8-bit wide, 12-bit deep shift
register. The LPT would output a 12-byte burst on every interrupt.
