Ian,
DO NOT USE THE KERNEL HEADERS AND SOURCES DOWNLOADED FROM THE REDHAT SITE!!!
If you look at the build number they are older that what is now on the CD
and they have to match your other kernel packages exactly. My CD contains
version 2.0.36-7 of all the packages and the one on their site is 2.0.36-3
If you load parts from different build numbers you will get the results you
are seeing and things will not work. If you want to do it with the script
follow the instructions EXACTLY and do not improvise or add any steps. The
script and the files with it do EVERYTHING that is required to get a Pentium
running a workstation installation done from the Official RedHat 5.2 CD with
X set to 800 x 600 or better running on the RT kernel all set for EMC.
