That's the midpoint function. To find the center of circle I just
touch off each edge after roughly centering. As long as the edges
are clean and there's a decent radius to the circle (can't do it in
a .250" hole with a .200 edge finder, at least I don't expect it'd
work) it works to .001" or better.

Last night I did think of something else that would be very useful:
feed rate display. I'm always having to count off some number of
seconds while watching the display, then multiply the difference in
the display in my head to get feed rate per minute. Sure would be
nice to see that on the display directly.
