DRO

Hi List,

I am in the process of designing a Programmable DRO as a commercial venture
based around a PIC for each axis. I'll be happy to publish the design as
soon as it is final.

I have a few questions that I can't find answers too.

Based in the UK I cannot find a supplier of aluminium extrusion or the
rubber
strip to protect the encoder strips, any suggestions will be more than
welcome.

The other question is if there is enough interest in including a Tacho
function built it. It is my belief that the amount of interest would not
justify the development time as most users are using synchronous motors and
geared heads either lathe or miller.
