Fred & Will have a Bridgeport running at NIST with RH6.2, plus I think a
couple of other people have 6.2 systems running as well, so I'd have to
say, yes. At any rate, you'll want to get the latest files from the CVS.

Model 2 has a driver now, and I think it's in use by someone (I wish I
had a better memory for these kind of details), as I remember a post
about that some time ago.

Parallel port hardware is almost ready, hardware exists, software has
been written, but we need to get a machine up and running with it before
I'll be really happy letting anyone else use it. I should be getting my
set of hardware on Monday or Tuesday and I'm going to take it down to
Fred at NIST to see if he can run his mill with it. If you can wait a
few weeks to get your machine running, I'd be happy to let you try out
the parallel port hardware on a "try before you buy" basis. Your
application looks like a good match for the EMC, so I'd be pleased to
see you give it a try.
