is not the speed of the Pentium that is the issue, it is the fact that a
Pentium handles memory differently than a 486 so any Pentium should be OK.
Just as a warning though, don't forget the Pentium 60 floating point but
that was such a mess for Intel a few years ago. It caused arithmetic
operation to occasionally return values that were off a number of decimal
places down. Don't know if it would affect EMC, but I do know that EMC
expects your g-code to be perfect to within an angstrom or so.
If you go with a Pentium and nothing else on the drive the script on my web
site (http://www.ktmarketing.com) should work just fine to get the RT kernel
setup.
