It should work VERY well! I am running EMC on a 100 MHz Pentium
Classic (non-MMX) and it runs very nicely, and I'm closing the servo
loop on 3 axes at 1000 Hz. I was having some problems early on, and
reduced the servo loop rate from 2 KHz to 1 KHz, but I suspect it would
run 2 KHz just fine, too. One indication is that I can't tell any difference
in the system performance whether the real-time emc module is running
or not. So, it must not be using very much CPU time at all.
