This sounds a lot like a problem I had with CncPRO. Z axis 'dropping'
over time. I checked all the mechanical reasons, even flipped axes
cables and watched it happen on y (so that eliminates gravity/ weak
motor,etc.) I think it is a BUG! I've stopped using CncPRO because of
it. I'm guessing some accel/decel code is being "tripped up" in
certain instances where there is a lot of z axis motion relative to
XY motion. (at least that describes my experience. And yours!)
I asked others using CncPRO to comment awhile back, and got no
response. Maybe now???
