Why don't you use EMC as a DRO? It works fine! You will have to
jimmy the emergency stop so you can use the keyboard to offset the
coordinate system to what you want, etc. But that is the only thing
you have to do. You will, of course, have to have a servo to go board,
or write a driver for some other encoder counter board.
