Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Mars probe (was Re: gm-cm to oz/inches conversion?)

It's very poor really, those things cost !SO MUCH! and they just crash them
into stuff and break them. In the hangers they have dust masks, static
suits, gloves air purifiers and all the likes and then expect these things
to survive hitting a piece of rock at 28,000mph when they get a sum wrong.
Why don't they just reinvest the money into this group and we could all get
those 10Hp mills I've heard talk of. We could make them ten satellites for
what they buy one day's worth of butties for at lunch I bet! Totally off
topic now: At NASA they actually have a department that sniffs every single
item, every battery, monitor, glove and pair of toe nail clippers that
embarks on journeys in the shuttle. It's to do with vapour in the air
cleaners I believe. Truely amazing... and my mum said there was no hope for
me (what with the keenest nose this side of the Atlantic).

Worried,
John
