Re: gm-cm to oz/inches conversion?

OK, since Imperial units, SI, Metric, Troy and Avoirdupois all
measure the same things,

Did you know a pound of lead weighs less than a pound of Gold
and yet, an ounce of Gold weighs more than an ounce of lead?

That is as long as we continue to use the Avoirdupois weight as we do
here in the states, and jewelers still use the troy system for gold.
So if you're buying gold, buy it in ounces.

And if you hate our American weight system, blame it on the french.
The word Avoirdupois, the system for US gallons, ounces, pounds and
tons just sounds too french.
