Sorry to hear about your zap! :-(

The timing is amazing--I logged on to post a question about whether anyone
had worked out how to to a "spindle off" for the Sherline short of wiring a
relay to cut off the line voltage. I also would like to be able to shut
off the spindle motor with an M5 or M6, in my case I'm using DeskNCrt.

I'll ask a couple of EE's at work, and let you know if I find out anything.
And I'll watch here to see if you learn anything too.

The sentence

"The Inhibit™ circuit (terminals I1 and I2) is provided to electronically
disconnect the armature output voltage."

is tantalizing, isn't it... :-)
