Re: sherline motor/speed control wiring

Randy, Tauseef,

Which KB controller is Sherline using? Or what would replace it? I
have an 115v AC/DC 1/5 hp motor on my old Sears/Sherline mill (5000),
and was thinking about replacing it. I'm also thinking about buying a
NEW 5400 mill. Is it a documented standard KB that we can interface
speed control to?

I think Dallas Semiconductor makes "digital pots", these should be
useful!

P.S. Randy, Want to meet me in Escalon next Sat.?
