List,

Some comments from the horse's mouth:

Your correspondence is very welcome and I am pleased
with the
interesting
questions that you bring to us.

1) Dremel rotary tools contain shielded ball bearings
in the front
and rear of the armature shaft. These bearings are
tested and expected
to
last a minimum of 100 hours and have gone past the 500
hours mark on
many
tools. These standards are set by Dremel AS A MINIMUM
requirement and
all
rotary tools must meet this requirement or the tools
are rejected at
production. If you are experiencing tools that do not
meet the minimum
standard - please advise us immediately.

2) Dremel does not use "O-rings" in our products.
This is not
factual and whoever has seen this in a rotary tool -
IT IS NOT A DREMEL
rotary tool. This is obviously an imitation and
should not be
considered a
Dremel. If you have such a tool, please send it to us
immediately for
our
review.

Any further comments from frequent Dremel users?

Peter
