No, the pin assignment are hard coded in EMC. When I first started using EMC
I faced the same issue. I made up a stub adapter that had the proper ports
on both ends and a 6" length of cable in the middle. Plugged it in between
the end of the printer cable and the driver. This way I could easily change
back if I want to use a different interpreter.
