I whole-heartedly agree. I just put one of these Minarik speed
controls to work on a 1/4 hp pm motor and it works like a dream. Min
speed, Max speed, and IR comp included. In the (very complete)
instructions that come with the unit it states that you can go up to
10 amps if you use a suitable heat sink.
