Just my 2 cents, but maybe its time to split the list in two along some sort
of interest lines. You get alot of email from this list about large
bridgeports and 100inches/second stuff, but I get alot of letters offline
from people as well who fear embarassment about their little plotter and
wood routers and such with a resolution of .09 inches. Personally I love
these little machines, its why its called a hobby. This would allow some
of us to check posts on one group on the web page( professional), and still
get letters automatically from a more select portion of this group(hobby).
It might make sense with this many members to split the interest line, 1400
members generate alot of mail, but I'd wager that the total from two groups
would be even larger.
