Hans Wedermeyer has designed a small tach and has it on his site.
Don't have the url handy but wedemeyer/wedermeyer/wedemyer/etc should
bring it up on a search.

Dan Mauch is also selling a small tach, and it may be from the Hans W
design (I don't remember for sure).
