Hi Joel
I had anticipated any potential developer would want to compile a kernel
specific to his/her machine before doing a build of EMC.
I have written a small script to automatically run through the entire build
process and put in place the dep files that are not normally built into
an RPM (along with a couple of autogenerated headers)
http://www.linuxcnc.org/bdi/RPMS/BDI-build.tgz
Once the script has run it's course, any future EMC builds can be done in
/usr/local with the ./compile script.
Regards, Paul.
