Not quite yet! The BDI does not support the on-board graphics controller on
the motherboard in my control (SIS 530). I installed the BDI on another
computer and then plugged the hard drive into my control. I then configured
linux for the on-board video so now I have a working BDI that can run on the
control BUT no netscape, no FTP, no telnet, the ethernet isn't even working
(thats built-in the motherboard too) and the touchscreen doesn't work. So
instead of trying to configure all that stuff again I just temperarily
installed the BDI drive as hdb and mounted it as /BDI.
I'm copying the rcslib emc and rtlinux directories to a whole different
computer with FTP and trying to get the procedure down to install it. When
I get that working I'll do the same on the control itself. It's going to be
at least a week before I'll have time to get back at it.
