Netscape (and just about everything else) needs a 'Domain Name Server'
to translate names like www.blort.com to IP addresses like 128.253.91.2
Your ISP will have to tell you what their DNS address is, then you can
enter that into the network setup utility. If you have a Windows system
that works with the same ISP, you can look up in the control panel,
network, TCP/IP dial up networking, properties, DNS Configuration.
(Mine doesn't show up there, because ....)

The other place it might show up is in properties of the dial up networking
icon that you use (in Windows) to make the dial up connection.
But, my particular PPP setup allows the network server to TELL ME
what DNS to use, and the actual address doesn't show up anywhere
that I can tell.
