Servos

Hi,

I've just had a donation of a couple of old plotters - architects type and I
wonder if anyone can tell me anything about them or, particularly, the servo
motors in 'em.
They are an HP DraftPro DXL which has motors marked Gebr. Buhler Nachf.
GmbH, the one I can see having the numbers 3140-0811 and 49 0 019 0 on it.
The other is a Calcomp Artisan Plus 1023 which has Yaskawa Minertia motors
marked FA5s-CA11 and FA5x-CA31 (part nos, 696790-5 and 12865-0017
respectively)

None of the motors look particularly powerful but it seems a shame not to
try to do something useful with them. I've searched the net with Copernic
and Google but not come up with any useful info. Can anyone help please?
