Is this a card that plugs into the PC's ISA bus slots? If so, you will
probably
need to write a device driver to handle it. it might be possible to just hack
the
existing code to change the pattern of how the bits come out, or just the
I/O address in the .ini file. Without knowing the hardware details of the
board, it is hard to advise further.

Why would you expect it to work? EMC is sending signals out the parallel
port, expecting the drivers to be plugged into there.

If this is an external board that plugs into the parallel port, then give us
the
info on what the pin connections are, and we should be able to offer advice.
