Hi Matthew,
Sorry for the slow response, but I had to dig up my notes for the SP-3 card.
Yes, I also pulled pins 14, 16 & 17, but put switches to them so that I
could manuallly enable/disable each axis. (I still have hand cranks on
each axis, so I can disable an axis for some manual work)
Changes to "emc.ini":
[TRAJ] section, changed:
DEFAULT_VELOCITY
MAX_VELOCITY
DEFAULT_ACCELERATION
MAX_ACCELERATION
you will have to play around with the numbers to suit your machine's
maximum velocity and acceleration.
[AXIS_0] [AXIS_1] [AXIS_2] sections, changed:
BACKLASH
INPUT_SCALE
if you're in inches, backlash is in inches, the input_scale is the number
of steps per inch. If your axis goes backwards, put in a -ve input_scale.
