I'd recommend you switch to saving the originals in bitmap format if you
can.
Granted the files will be much larger, but as I said previously...you'll get
much better detail when printing as large photos. You can always make jpg
copies later if necessary and shrink those to thumbnail size if you're going
to use them on a web page.
