The Taig software has been SuperCAM in the past. Prob'ly still is...
Dennis Bohlke (who wrote supercam) programmed into the controller the
ability to use pinouts comaptible with both phase and step/dir
drivers. So if the port is the issue, you may be able to get around it
by using s/d drives and changing the config in the SuperCAM s/w setup.
