Yes, the Crawford millworks pkg worked WELL for a plastic or w/wkg
type router opertion... AND looked really good for a text DOS program!
It implemented the types of things within the control that are often
seen in the CAM side of things (at the low end, anyway; the hi-end
controls have a lot of CAM functionality built in)

About the reason for the HAM: Yes, you are correct; I was not clear
enough. The HAM is (I believe) the result of a great amount of money
lost through previous lack of program protection by Ability. The DT
example of this loss was just one I was *told* was true...
