Easy. Tape a sheet of thin polythene over the keyboard, sealing it down at
the edges. If you leave the sheet a bit loose, there is enough give to
allow the keys to be depressed individually (too tight & hitting one key
also hits neighbouring keys). This works very well & is cheap to replace
when the inevitable film of grime renders the keys unreadable. The easiest
way to do this is to use polythene bags that are big enough to put the
entire keyboard inside, so the whole of the case is protected from foreign
bodies/fluids.
