I can explain about Dolphin as I use it every day but although I have
a copy of Vector I have never used it in anger and therefore I don't

What is wanted is someone who has run both demo's and can shed some
light on these from an unbiast point of view.
Although they are both in the same price range this shouldn't really
be a deciding factor. Learning a CAD/CAM system is a steep learning
curve and not something you want to repeat if you find that the
program won't do what you want.
Dolphin is a simple program to learn and is very powerfull in that it
automates a lot of operations but you still have the facility to edit
these if they don't suit.
Perhaps one point to bear in mind is that Dolphin has been around in
industry for quite a while and are very well received in the UK. It's
only recently that they have spread their wings to go international
and also to cater for the hobby market.
