RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Smithy Granite

Just to throw in my two cents. I have a Shoptask and have no complaints with
the machine or the customer service. I recognized when I bought it that it
was a compromise and treated it as such. It fit where I had space and was a
BIG step up in rigidity and capacity compared to the Sherline machines I
had. No it does not have the ability of my Bridgeport that I have since
acquired, but I never expected it to.

I have had a couple of problems with the machine (bracket cracked a weld,
motor burned out) but Shoptask was prompt and efficient in getting me back
to work.

I have witnesses a few customer service "incidents" on the Shoptask group,
but I will admit that this has only seemed to occur when the person is being
an absolute a** and the customer was pushing for more than the already
liberal offer that was proposed by Shoptask.
