Hi Scot,
I'm using DB15's (I had a lot of 'em), and they work fine. Trouble is
getting 18 ga. wire into the pins! You can also use a PAIR of wires and
pins per lead. I have quite a few motors wired with DB15's. Even
Unipolar motors, where I use an additional pair of pins for the "common"
(2nd common for 6 wire motors). The common pins are ignored for a
bipolar motor. I was even thinking of adding the current selection
resistor to the connector as well. BUT, I'd caution that you provide a
"minimum current" resistor at the Gecko. Otherwise, well you know what
will happen!
