I'm surprised no one else has jumped in yet. There is a very nice program
called "Pro Desktop Express", available for download from
www.ptc.com
I am sure there are others available as well. Intellicad, available from
Cadopia, and others, is one other that comes to mind. It does 3d, with some
limitations.
If you could provide some idea of what you want to draw, you may get some
better answers. I would like to add that drawing stuff in 3 dimensions is
not always the best solution, especially if you have not had much of a go at
it. I know of a least a couple of places that make very expensive machines,
and still do most of the work in 2D.
