rewrite the cells so many times. It should last indefinitely in
program or even data storage, but I'd be worried about having a
constantly changing swap partition on one. With enough ram you can
probably run linux without swap (I certainly have - although I suppose
it might crash horribly if you ever ran out of memory) so that might
be worth looking into given today's low ram prices.
