Thanks for all the replies..

KiloPascals, hmmmm.....that's a new one on me, and my old engineering
handbook.

John H's formula, (X kPA) (0.1450 psi / 1 kPa) = Y psi, gives a
result of 1740 psi. That's a reasonable amount and seems consistent
with a medium pressure hydraulic system.

It's kind of strange that they would specify the system hydraulic
pressure rather than the pushing force of the ram which is the
meaningful thing in this case. Doubly strange since they don't give
the diameter of the ram's piston making a force calculation not so
easy.
