Hi Brian,
Yes, I can see that. In and out of MDI to reset DRO of jog encoder.
The encoders I have give just a little "feel". Your saying that 16
preset override values would work, why not just "scroll" through a list
of overrides, like the jog distance? Cheaper then BCD switches. I'd
think a 10 turn pot into an A/D converter would give good control also.
Now to figure out how to do the override in the motion code (mine).
