Hi Jon,
You can interrupt a program, and back it up? The mill actually runs the
Gcode backwards? Or do you just retract the cutter, and re-enter
(restart) the part program a few blocks back? Interesting. I'd like to
hear more about how it's implemented. I can switch between RUN, MDI and
Single Step, which I think works good, but I've wished I could "back up"
more then a few times!
Does the "backup" move the axis? Can I just "clear the part", and then
"backup" in the part program, allowing it to redo one or more blocks?
That I think could be done quite easily, as long as one were in ABSOLUTE
positioning mode, and clear of the part!
These are good ideas!
