Hi all,

This is follow on to the ALL THREAD thread (pun intended)is a
question about ACME rod.

I read/heard some time ago (probably on this list)that there are more
than one grade of ACME rod.

and archetuchal grade and a ?mechanical? grade.

HF uses the cheap and ACME looking rod for it's vices and others use
it for the look and feel of thread.

The other grade or ACME is precision and very accuate. used for
machine tooling such as lead screws.

The question is:
Are there more than one grade of ACME rod ?

Dave
